Welcome to the first annual Sun Dance Showcase! This exciting new event is dedicated to celebrating the incredible talent of high school dancers across El Paso. The Sun Dance Showcase is not a competition, it’s a vibrant platform for young performers to express their creativity, share their passion, and shine on stage. Join us as we bring together schools from across the city for an unforgettable evening of movement, artistry, and community spirit.

- Each high school will be allowed to showcase 1 or 2 dance routines per team.
- Performance time expectations are not to exceed 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
- All music must be sent to a Dropbox no later than January 16, 2026. We will sent the Dropbox soon.
- All registration must be done and submitted by January 16, 2026. The registration link will be sent out soon.
- We WILL NOT accept any late registration submissions. Please adhere to the due date, January 16, 2026
- We will also be selling T-shirts. We will send you a QR code for purchase. And all orders must be submitted by January 5, 2026.

Location:Â El Paso County Coliseum
Time: 4:00pm – 9:00pm
- The Director and your team are required to attend dress rehearsal. A no show to dress rehearsal will terminate your teams performance from the show.
- Dress rehearsal will take place at the El Paso County Coliseum.
- Each team will be given 5 minutes to stage and run through with music twice. (Per routine)
- The 5 minutes is only for staging purposes ONLY.
- Be prompt! If you miss your time slot, you will be reassigned.
- All music must be uploaded to the Dropbox no later than January 16, 2026. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- All music must be edited correctly. No explicit lyrics.
- All choreography must be age appropriate and showcased in a respectful manner.
- Your performance time should NOT surpass 2 minutes and 30 seconds or your music will be stopped.
- There will be a blackout between each dance number after your team performs. Dancers will enter stage right and exit stage left. Make sure to show a definite ending when you perform at the dress rehearsal.

Location:Â El Paso County Coliseum
- Dancers are to enter at Dancers Entrance in front of the coliseum.
- A show order will be displayed back stage and a QR code will be posted.
- There will be plenty of room back stage. Please be considerate of others. We all need to share space.
- No parents are allowed backstage. ONLY DIRECTORS.
- We ask that you keep the venue, backstage, and restrooms always clean. Please pick up after yourselves.
- ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS ALLOWED. ONLY CLEAR WATER BOTTLES. Also, bags will be checked since the coliseum has a clear bag policy. Dancers are allowed to have their backpacks or duffle bags, but they will be checked at entry.Â
- No flash photography. For the safety of all performers.
- Have your teams come with hair and makeup done.
- Do not enter backstage with costumes on.
- You may leave once your team is done performing.
The following are for you and your team. Arrive on time and stretch on your own. There will be Sundance staff visible to assist you.
- All teams must arrive no later than 3:00pm.
- 1st group to perform must be backstage at 3:50pm.
- Show begins at 4:00pm
- Estimated time to end will depend on participation.
- Just a rough estimate between 6:30-7:00pm
All tickets are $15.00
- Tickets will be on sale at the ticket office on the day of the event at the box office of the El Paso County Coliseum.
- Children 2 and under are FREE
- No strollers, car seats, etc.
- A clear bag policy will be enforced.
